Gyratory Vibrating Screen for Quartz Sand Processing

Gyratory Vibrating Screen Project Details

In May 2023, Sanyuantang provided 3 sets of gyratory vibrating screens to quartz sand processing factory in Hunan, China, for processing and separating quartz sand particles in large quantities.

Solutions

  • Particle size distribution: the material on the 30 mesh sieve accounts for 50% of the total returned material, 30 to 50 mesh accounts for 15%, 50 to 120 mesh accounts for 30%, and 120 mesh accounts for 5%.
  • Recommended equipment: 2040 square gyratory screener.
  • Number of sieve layers: 10 layers (duplex layers with the same mesh number are fed and screened simultaneously).
  • Feed rate: 12t/h

Advantages

  1. Equivalent to two 4-layer linear sieves of the same model, with larger processing capacity and higher screening accuracy.
  2. The screen is directly pulled out from behind the screen, making replacement faster and more convenient.

Suggestion for screen assembly: two layers of 30 mesh, two layers of 50 mesh, two layers of 80 mesh, and two layers of 120 mesh.

Two layers of 10 meshes are additionally provided, which can be changed at any time according to the change of particle size distribution and material layer thickness of different batches of materials. One single-in and double-out square swing screen can easily replace at least two linear screens of the same model, and achieve higher screening accuracy, which also saves compact on-site space.

Why Choose the Gyratory Vibrating Screen?

Gyratory vibrating screen works by utilizing the reciprocating rotary vibration generated by the vibration of the oscillator. The upper rotating heavy hammer of the vibrator causes the screen surface to undergo planar gyratory vibration, while the lower rotating heavy hammer causes the screen surface to undergo conical gyratory vibration. The combined effect of the two causes the screen surface to undergo compound gyratory vibration.

The screen panel of the gyratory vibrating screen is made of a fine mesh design, which allows for precise screening of the quartz sand. The vibration of the screen panel agitates the material, helping to separate the finer particles from the coarser ones. This allows for a more efficient and accurate separation process.

Screening Method

  1. Rotary screening: Two layers of screens with the same aperture allow materials that have been screened once to be screened again to achieve higher screening accuracy.
  2. Rotary reverse screening: Material screening is carried out in a fine – → medium fine – → medium -+coarse manner.
  3. Double processing screening: The materials entering the screening machine are evenly distributed on two levels, increasing the processing capacity of a single screening machine by nearly double. One screening machine is used as two.
  4. Combined screening: ordinary screening+rotary screening, improving the utilization rate of a single screening machine.

Conclusion

Gyratory vibrating screen is a reliable and effective solution for processing quartz sand, ensuring high-quality separation and efficient throughput.
