If you want a good screening effect, choose the right vibrating screen! The following are the vibration screening tips compiled by Sanyuantang Machinery for you:

Selection Tip 1: Material

The vibrating screen is mainly made of two different materials: carbon steel and stainless steel. Mainly because the screening materials are different, the selected materials of the rotary vibrating screen are also different. The material cost of carbon steel will be lower than stainless steel.

In flour, starch, medicine, and other related industries, the whole machine will be made of 304 stainless steel, mainly because the hardness, plate thickness, and wear resistance of stainless steel are relatively good, and it is easier to clean after rigorous grinding and polishing. Affects the quality of finished products; in industries such as building materials, chemicals, and metallurgy, companies with high environmental hygiene requirements can just choose carbon steel.

Selection Tip 1: Material Characteristics

Since the vibrating screen can screen particles, powders, mucus and other materials, the rotary vibrating screening type should be reasonably selected based on the material characteristics, mainly including the shape and size of the material and the fluidity of the material.

Selection Tip Three: Venue Size

To choose a rotary vibration screening type, you need to consider the size of the site. The size of the screen mesh affects the screening output. The larger the screening area, the higher the efficiency and output. Therefore, the size of the site is also a vibration screening type. One of the keys.

  1. Check whether the V-ring of the screen frame of the rotary vibrating screen is damaged. If it is damaged, it needs to be repaired in time to prevent material leakage.
  2. Check whether the spring components of the rotary vibrating screen are loose. If there is any looseness, tighten it with a wrench to achieve better screening results.
  3. The surface of the rotary vibrating screen needs to be checked regularly for damage. If there is any damage, it needs to be replaced in time to avoid unqualified screening of the product.
  4. Check the motor of the rotary vibrating screen and add butter from the grease nipple regularly.

Any mechanical equipment will produce noise when operating, and vibrating screening equipment is no exception. The series of ultrasonic vibrating screen equipment produced by Sanyuantang itself has the characteristics of low noise, but through correct and reasonable methods, the noise generated during the use of the vibrating screen can be better reduced, which not only reduces the pollution of the production environment by noise, but also reduces the pollution of the production environment. It can effectively reduce the wear of various components of the vibrating screen equipment and effectively extend the service life of the vibrating screening equipment.

Ⅰ. Source of vibrating screen noise:

First of all, we need to find the source of the noise generated by the vibrating screen – the vibrating screening machine is usually composed of steel components such as beams, side plates, reinforcement plates, screen surfaces, etc. These components vibrate elastically during the operation of the vibrating screen, so noise is generated . The specific analysis is as follows:

  1. Bearings Bearings vibrate during operation, mainly from two aspects: structure and manufacturing. In terms of structure, the rolling elements are stretched by load, causing slight changes in the axis position and causing vibration. In terms of manufacturing, geometric errors in rolling surfaces such as rolling elements, cages, and inner and outer rings will cause vibration. Among them, waviness has the greatest impact, followed by unevenness and surface finish. Among the three rolling elements, inner and outer rings, Among the parts, the geometric shape error of the rolling body surface has the greatest impact on vibration and noise. During operation, load, speed, lubrication and working clearance all affect the vibration of the bearing to varying degrees. For example, grease-lubricated bearings are prone to pitting corrosion, which increases the vibration response of the bearing.
  2. Arrangement of eccentric mass of vibrator

When the vibrator is working, the centrifugal force generated by the eccentric mass makes the eccentric shaft complete, causing the bearing to produce relative deflection of the inner and outer races, causing the motion estimation of the rolling elements in the bearing to change, thereby increasing the vibration response.

Ⅱ. Effective methods to reduce vibrating screen noise:

  1. Use more rubber and plastic components ❶. Rubber springs produce very little noise when working. However, due to the existence of internal resistance, sufficient iron heat dissipation area must be considered during design. ❷. When using metal sieve plates or stainless steel slit sieve plates, they must be connected to the screen frame through buffer rubber or plastic pads to avoid noise due to the impact of metal parts. ❸. In the screening of granular materials, practice has proven that the noise level of rubber cooking sieve plates is about 10 decibels lower than that of metal sieve plates. ❹. Although coil springs have lower natural frequencies, larger static compression and load-bearing capacity, are temperature and oil resistant, and have stable performance, they are prone to transmit high-frequency vibrations and medium-frequency vibrations. In order to reduce noise, a layer of rubber is adhered to the outside of the spring steel wire to increase damping.
  2. Under the condition that the bearing life is satisfied, try to use bearings with smaller size and higher box density.
  3. In the design of the screen box structure, the stiffness of the side plates should be taken into consideration, and appropriate stiffness should be used to reduce vibration, thereby reducing medium and low-frequency noise waves. A damping layer can also be coated on the screen box steel plate to reduce vibration.

Changing the phase angle of the upper and lower weights of the rotary vibrating screen can change the movement trajectory and residence time of the materials on the screen. In order to adapt the screen machine to the separation conditions required for various materials, such as various changes in material distribution, processing capacity, separation efficiency, mesh passing rate, etc., it should be adjusted to the best state.

  1. When cleaning the ultrasonic vibrating screen, the temperature should be between 30°C and 50°C. If the temperature is lower or higher than this temperature, the cleaning effect will not be optimal;
  2. Cleaning fluid is required to clean the ultrasonic vibrating screen. The higher the viscosity of the cleaning fluid and the higher the gas content, the better the cleaning effect will be;
  3. When cleaning the ultrasonic vibrating screen, the sound intensity should be around 1w-2w/mm², because the sound intensity is also an important factor affecting the cleaning effect of the equipment;
  4. When cleaning the ultrasonic vibrating screen, attention should also be paid to the location of the object to be cleaned and the depth of the cleaning fluid. When the location of the cleaning object is relatively hidden, the depth of the cleaning fluid should be adjusted appropriately to ensure that the target location can be cleaned.

The cleaning work of the ultrasonic vibrating screen should be planned and strictly implemented as the focus of maintenance. Because the ultrasonic vibrating screen mainly screens high-quality and fine powder, a clean operating environment can effectively improve the screening effect and screening accuracy, and can also effectively Extend the service life of the screen machine.

Using hearing to identify whether the vibrating screen bearing is faulty is a common inspection method, as follows:

  1. If the equipment bearing clearance is too large or too small, it will cause abnormal metal sounds.
  2. Indentations on the outer tracks of mechanical equipment bearings will cause smooth and crisp sounds and cause vibrations.
  3. Knock marks caused during installation will produce noise, which will change with the speed of the bearing.
  4. Damage to the rolling parts of the vibrating screen bearing will cause intermittent noise.
  5. When there are contaminants in the vibrating screen bearings, it will cause hissing noise.
  6. Severe vibration screen bearing damage will produce huge noise.

The above is a summary of the common identification methods of vibrating screen bearing noise. However, if noise occurs in the vibrating screen bearings, it is recommended to replace the bearings immediately in order to avoid more serious damage to the vibrating screen equipment. Therefore, it is still recommended to use electronic condition monitoring instruments to detect bearing problems in time.

Good daily maintenance habits can avoid problems with the vibrating screen bearings to the greatest extent. Frequent inspection of the bearings and regular lubrication and maintenance are more important.
